The former cathedral city of Elgin is around a 30-minute drive from our Speyside Club Site. The town is the capital of Moray and a must while staying in the area. While there, visit the ruins of Elgin Cathedral, walk up to the ruins of Elgin Castle and enjoy the amenities in the town.
Whisky sampling
There’s an array of historic distilleries within easy reach of Moray campsites. You’ll find a range of tours and tastings available at the Glenfiddich Distillery, Macallan Distillery and Glenlivet Distillery. Camping in Scotland’s Whisky Country means finding a distillery tour near your campsite is always possible.
Explore some of Moray’s castles
With so many powerful families having resided in Moray, the maps are dotted with castle remains. Brodie Castle, near our Speyside Club Site, is a well-maintained rose-coloured castle with plenty for the whole family to explore. Other castles worth visiting include Ballindalloch Castle, Balvenie Castle and Drumin Castle.
