Overview
Pine Grove is an ideal site for a great relaxing break especially if you enjoy wildlife, cycling, walking or boating. The beautiful Norfolk coast is 10 minutes’ drive away and the NWT Hickling Broad with its visitor centre just 5 minutes. On site, Barn Owls and other varieties of wildlife are frequently seen. The coast offers the opportunity to visit Little Tern and Seal colonies and wildlife trips with experienced and knowledgeable guides can be arranged on the Broad. Look out for Marsh Harriers, Cranes, Dragonflies and the rare but beautiful Swallowtail butterfly. Boats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards can be hired nearby to explore the local rivers. The Weavers Way runs alongside the site and the quiet lanes locally are ideal for walking and cycling. Alternatively, spend some quality time relaxing on site. Enjoy a drink and a hearty meal at one of our local pubs (the nearest is 3 minutes walk away) or drop in at one of the many country tea rooms or restaurants. Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Cromer are all easily accessible by car. A warm welcome awaits you at Pine Grove.
This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
