The town puts on a spectacular carnival for everyone to enjoy as part of their two-week-long Guy Fawks circuit. The Wells Carnival is one of the largest illuminated carnivals in the world.

Since 1862, Sandringham has been linked to the British monarch and still remains the private country retreat of the King and Queen consort.
