Overview

Situated in the village of Long Sutton, Brook Farm Campsite is on the edge of the Somerset Levels between the small country towns of Langport and Somerton. It is surrounded by great walking and cycle routes, as well as numerous museums and National Trust properties. If you like walking, with or without a dog, there is a footpath running from the site which takes you to the river Yeo and then runs along the riverbank in both directions. The site is perfect for watching wildlife. Depending on the time of year you may see Cranes, Swans, Egrets, Ducks, Rabbits, Hares or Deer. We have cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits and pigs on the farm. If you are lucky you may get to meet piglets. The animals are a small distance away from the campsite so they do not disturb our campers. The village shop and pub are both a short easy walk from the site. With open views over the Moor this site is perfect for relaxing or as a base to visit the many places of interest Somerset offers.
Please contact the campsite directly if you have any questions about opening dates, facilities or additional measures at this campsite.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland

To vote for your favourite CS, all you need to do is fill in the online form and select which category you would like to nominate the campsite for.
