Overview

Our site offers five large pitches with or without hook-ups and three hardstanding pitches with or without hook-ups. The facilities available are two separate toilets with sinks, and NEW for 2019 an updated shower room. Dogs are welcome (allocated dog walking area). Site is within a tranquil rural setting, maintained gardens and offers peace and quiet with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. It is also very flat, well away from main roads and positioned on the Somerset Levels. Ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and birdwatching, swans are often seen nearby at the entrance to site. In the village of Mark there are two lovely pubs serving food, plus Mark village stores, post office and an ancient church, all within walking distance. Nearby the seaside towns of Burnham-on-Sea, and Weston Super Mare with sandy beaches and a pier, ideal for families. More attractions in the area include the amazing Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Clarks Village and Glastonbury and the Cathedral City of Wells is also within easy distance, not forgetting the spectacular seasonal carnivals held there in November.
Please contact the campsite directly if you have any questions about opening dates, facilities or additional measures at this campsite.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

Whilst the majority of Certificated Sites do permit children, please be aware that this site has chosen to be Adults Only.
