Swansea has an array of parks and gardens with Green Flag Awards which are ideal if you’re after a slower pace or are looking for green space for kids to roam free.

Swansea Market
Whilst camping in Swansea, don't forget to visit the award-winning Swansea Market. It’s the largest and most historic indoor market in Wales that offers both tourists and residents a unique shopping experience.
Between Monday and Saturday, you’ll find a fantastic selection of specialist stalls offering everything from fresh, local produce and delicious food to antiques and bespoke gifts. You can even take home a souvenir as a reminder of your great trip.

Galleries and museums
Swansea is home to a good selection of museums and galleries, with many offering free admission.
The National Waterfront Museum is one of the most popular museums to visit. Here you can watch numerous shows, see exhibits, and join interactive workshops. You’ll find something for everyone whilst visiting but do make sure you pre-book any tickets in advance.
Other great museums include the Swansea Museum, which is the oldest in Wales, and the Dylan Thomas Centre, which is now the focal point for a celebration of the world-famous poet’s life and work.
Swansea.com Stadium
For football and rugby fans, Swansea.com Stadium is a great visit during your camping trip.
The Stadium opened in 2005 to provide a home to Swansea City AFC and Ospreys Rugby whilst giving Swansea a facility to be proud of.
Whilst visiting, you can see all the behind-the-scenes action at the stadium with a tour that will include the players' tunnel, home dressing room, the team dug-out seats, hospitality and banqueting areas, the television studio and the Stadium club shop.
