Mel managed the feat in just six days, 22 hours and 18 minutes, smashing the previous record of 11 days (female) and 10 days (male).

Along the way she camped at various Certificated Sites and Club Sites in her support vehicle, a Benimar Tessoro 494, supplied by Club Preferred Dealer Marquis Leisure.

Mel said: “To be honest everything is still sinking in, but I can’t thank the incredible support team I had enough. I was very proud and honoured to be working with them – without them all, this would not have been possible.”
