BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE
The Club's Archive will offer festival-goers the chance to immerse themselves in the nostalgic magic of camping and the great outdoors with hands-on activities and interactive fun, getting youngsters involved too by bringing history to life through play.
Head to the Club Archive area to get a taste of camping through the ages – here, children can get stuck into some dressing up with a treasure trove full of clothes and accessories such as brownie box cameras from the 1930s and 1940s. They can also test their skills and have fun with toys from days gone by.
Meanwhile, grown-ups can enjoy a film showing of With Tent and Rucksack in the Gazebo and a fascinating display of rare photos from the Mountain Activity Section in the 1930s in the Gallery. It will be a wonderful way to enjoy – and learn about – the Club's rich heritage of camping and the great outdoors.
