The Club has been closely monitoring the site, including the access road, with annual surveys since 2014.

The last 12 months has seen the biggest deterioration.

Safety is of paramount importance to the Club, so the campsite has not reopened for the camping season and the Club has decided it will regrettably not renew the lease with the local authority given that the long-term safe operation of the site is unclear.

The Club’s Customer Services team has reached out to campers with bookings at Folkestone to make alternative arrangements at other Club Sites nearby.
