Camping, Caravan and Motorhome Show almost here
The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2016 opens its doors next week at Birmingham’s NEC, presenting a galaxy of stars and new units
Camping and Caravanning Club President Julia Bradbury and wildlife expert Chris Packham will officially open the show at 10.30am on Tuesday (23 February) and be on hand to meet visitors in the afternoon. Julia will be on the Club Stand from 12.45pm while Chris will be on the Camping in the Forest Stand from midday.
Julia said: “I’m really looking forward to meeting Club members at the show, and sharing stories and experiences of discovering the very best our Great British countryside has to offer. Come and say hello at the Club stand.”
Ready Camp, the Club’s glamping option, has its own stand at the show with information about the network, freshly expanded to 29 sites across the UK.
Celebrity chefs Aldo Zilli and Andrew Dickens will demonstrate campsite cooking while other famous faces dropping in over the six days include adventurer Andy Torbet and racing driver Oli Webb.
New models on display at the show include the Knaus Star Class line-up of touring caravans made specifically for the UK, the new Danbury GO! Motorhome, and the Imala 730 and V-Line SE range from Auto Trail.
There’ll be an opportunity to have a go at towing with Hyundai, the show’s official tow car partner, and a chance to win an amazing prize worth £35,000 on the Club Stand.
Club members can buy discounted tickets for the Club’s Friendly Friday, on 26 February, from just £5.25 for adults or £4.75 for seniors.
