Don Amott Caravans and Motorhomes collected the Family Business of the Year Award at the 2018 ceremony – an award given to companies that have shown continued success while maintaining the values of a family business.

Managing Director of Don Amott, John Broderick, said: “We’re extremely pleased to have won this award, which fully supports our commitment to following the company’s family values in everything we do. We’re a close-knit team, and while it is a cliché, everyone is part of the family. Many of our staff have been with us more than 25 years – that in itself speaks volumes about the company.”

Don Amott was founded in 1963 by Don Amott Sr and is now run by the third generation of the Amott family. It is based in Hilton, near Derby, at a site known as Leisure Kingdom, where there is also an accessory megastore and a service centre, which is an Approved Workshop.
