Put the two names together and you get a pretty good idea of its uses. It’s not practical to sleep inside but if you have a couple of bikes or any other kit to store this could be a great solution.

The polyester tent is a truncated tunnel with a two-hoop GRP (fibreglass) frame and some bracing bars to hold the hoops together. If you have enough space inside your caravan or motorhome you can even transport it built up – simply remove the short bracing poles and fold the front and back faces together.

It’s light, weighing 3kg, and remarkably easy to assemble, with a practical green colour adding to the overall attractive design.

On site it can be pegged down, attached to a wall or – as in our case – fixed to the back of a motorhome.

There are several neat touches that make this perfect as a bike store. The small flap at the rear of the tent, for example, allows you to use a lock to secure the bikes inside directly to the wall or motorhome behind and it has a polyurethane groundsheet.

It’s best used against a vertical surface, when you probably won’t need to guy it out. But if you’re leaving it on a pitch when you take your motorhome out for the day there are plenty of guying points so you should be able to tie it down well.

The large front door has ‘grip and zip’ points around it to make closing easier. And as a final twist, you can even zip several Caves together to give a larger storage space.
