The annual Welsh Perry and Cider festival is held at Caldicot Castle in Monmouthshire over the Spring Bank Holiday (22nd - 25th May 2015). The festival attracts over 2500 visitors, from cider aficionados to those who are trying craft perry and cider for the first time. For the Perry and Cider producers this weekend is a culmination of the previous year’s hard work, with the judging of the annual championships taking place on the Saturday morning. The venue has onsite camping and caravan facilities and activities to welcome the whole family across the weekend. Monday 25 May is Medieval Monday, with the day taken over with historical interactive entertainment including the castle jester, stilt walkers and some exciting workshops.
What better way to enjoy an early summer weekend than joining family and friends to discover previously un-encountered tastes of Wales, whilst enjoying some great live music and entertainment, and some time dedicated to enjoying this traditional craft, all in the beautiful setting of Caldicot Castle and Country Park. For more informaton please visit the festival's blog or keep up to date on Facebook and Twitter.
