Haughmond Abbey

Haughmond Abbey

Haughmond Abbey is set in the serene Shropshire countryside, a short distance from the county town of Shropshire.

Take a gentle stroll around the ruins of a 12 century Augustinian abbey, closely associated to the FitzAlan family before its dissolution in 1539.

The surviving 12th and 14 century abbots’ quarters, refectory and cloister provide shadows ideal for picnicking in during the summer.
