The car park is free of charge and is situated on a slight slope on the outer bailey, approximately 200 metres from the shop and admission point.
There is an on-site picnic area that makes for a lovely spot for a family picnic whilst admiring the view of the tallest spire in England, Salisbury Cathedral.
Dogs are allowed to roam freely on the Outer Bailey and on a lead in the castle. There are dog waste bins and water bowls on-site.
