Grey Mare's Tail Nature Reserve

Grey Mare's Tail is nestled in the Moffat Hills, a range of hills in the beautiful Southern Uplands of Scotland.

Immortalised in Sir Walter Scott’s Marmion, Grey Mare’s Tail is one of Britain’s highest waterfalls plunging over 60m from Loch Skeen.

Keep an eye out for a glimpse of ospreys, ring ouzels, feral goats and peregrine falcons.
