Rollright Stones Rollright Stones

Hidden away on the border of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, the Rollright Stones feature three different megalithic monuments, the earliest of which dates back to Neolithic times. These include a significant stone circle known as the Kings Men, the remains of a burial chamber known as the Whispering Knights and a single marker monolith known as the King Stone. They span nearly 2,000 years of Neolithic and Bronze Age development. The site was featured in the Doctor Who TV series and is free to access. No dogs are allowed, except for guide dogs and parking is available in the lay-by.
