Visiting Hunstanton Sea Life and Sanctuary
The Wash is the largest bay in England and features a vast blend of wetlands, mudflats and saltmarshes that's home to many different species of wildlife.
In addition to waders, wildfowl and migrant birds, it's a breeding ground for Atlantic grey seals.
Happily for Norfolk campers, its colony of grey seals number in the thousands and can be easily spotted at the Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary.
Head to Hunstanton promenade and climb aboard Wizzy The Wash Monster, an amphibious vehicle, for its popular one-hour Seal Safari Tour.
Travel across the water and sandbanks and enjoy the sight of sunbathing seals, or spot them bobbing in the water. Note: tours are weather-dependent, booking advised during busy times.
