Visiting Longleat Safari Park
Longleat Safari Park was one of the first drive-through safari parks outside Africa when it opened in 1966. The Park was seen as a massive breakthrough in how captive animals were kept, with them being allowed to roam freely rather than being in a cage.
With more than 500 animals and a whole host of different areas to explore including Gorilla Island, Cheetah Kingdom and Tiger Territory, Longleat Safari Park is a brilliant day out for the whole family.
The nearby Longleat House is also available to visit with a 'passport' ticket, allowing you entry across all attractions in the estate.
