Oakmoor Village

Oakmoor Village

Sat in the Churnet Valley, the ancient village of Oakamoor dates back to the Norman Conquest is just a mile and a half from the campsite, it has 8 heritage trail walks, 2 historical churches and 3 pubs which serve food and are all dog friendly.

There is a variety of terrain, two are suitable for pushchairs, but others may present the walker with a few challenges.

All the walks start from the village car park which is situated in Station Road, public toilets are available.

Other features are that the car park is adjacent to the Oakamoor Picnic Area and opposite the Admiral Jervis Pub.

This is also the start of the Oakamoor Heritage Trail.
