Preston Mill & Phantassie Doocot

Characteristically Dutch in style with a conical roof, this mill lies in the unexpected location of East Lothian to the East of Edinburgh.

The site was also heavily featured as Lallybroch, in the popular television show, Outlander, which is set in 18th century Scotland.

Wander around the mill and keep an eye out for a glimpse of the various creatures that inhabit the site, including otters, kingfishers and herons.
