For those who are looking for a little bit more than relaxing beach walks and stunning sea views, Culzean Beach is also an area steeped in history.
Culzean Castle rests near the cliffs edge, like something straight out of a fairy tale. Once you have strolled along the sandy beach, the castle is always open to visitors.
Toilet facilities can be found here, along with refreshments and on-site car parking. Culzean Country Park is also not too far away if you still have plenty of energy left.
