Lincolnshire Wolds

Lincolnshire Wolds

Located between the medieval, cathedral city of Lincoln and the long, North Sea coastline, the Lincolnshire Wolds is one of the East Midland's hidden treasures.

Officially designed at as an Area of Natural Beauty in 1973, the Lincolnshire Wolds comprises rolling hills, steep valleys and sandstone rock.

Iconic British poet Lord Alfred Tennyson was born in the quaint village of Somersby and referenced the Wolds frequently in his poetry.
