National Forest

The National Forest has seen millions of trees planted in response to the low level of woodland that existed in the region 20 years ago.

The forest stretches over 200 square miles, across the counties of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire

Such has been the high level of support shown by the public, more than 200,000 people now live the area, with associated business’ and attractions also thriving as a result.
