Slapton Ley
Separated from the sea by a narrow shingle bar, Slapton Ley is the largest lake in the South-West.
Slapton Ley is located on Devon's south coast, stretching between the seaside villages of Torcross and Slapton.
In 1993, the bay was designated as a National Nature Reserve and is home to a diverse collection of wildflowers and animals including badgers, otters and dormice.
