Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre

Cardigan Bay

Cardigan Bay

No camping break in Cardigan Bay is complete without a leisurely boat trip exploring this sea-faring corner of Wales.

Tour the waters around the beautiful coastal county of Ceredigion from the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to conserving Cardigan Bay's marine wildlife.

The Visitor Centre is based at New Quay overlooking the beach and harbour, and from here daily guided boat trips set out to tour the sweeping Welsh bay in search of bottlenose dolphins, porpoises, seals and seabirds.

Various trips are available, ranging from 1.5 hour family excursions to day-long survey trips, during which you'll have an exciting opportunity to observe researchers in action and help collect important information about Cardigan Bay's marine species.
