Inspiring the camper in everyone

Sabina joined the Club in 2002 and was appointed Director General in 2019. She is  responsible for all aspects of the Club’s activities, which includes serving as Secretary to National Council, the Executive Committee and Management Committee.

Darren is responsible for all of the Club’s operations, encompassing Club Sites, Membership and the Service Centre. He joined the Club in 2007 and is the Deputy Director General, additionally he serves as Secretary to the Administration Committee, Operations Committee, and the National Youth Committee. 

Geoff is responsible for the Club's commercial insight team. Driving commercial decision making, ensuring the Club is maximising value from its data and the pricing strategy of all Club products. The management of strategic partnerships such as overseas and core member services also sit within Geoff’s remit. Geoff has been with the Club since 2013 and in this role since 2022.

Richard joined the Club in August 2024 and is responsible for the Club’s marketing activities to help increase the brand awareness, drive growth in sales and membership, and to encourage more people to discover the incredible outdoors. Richard and his department are responsible for creating inspiring content, events, and communications for both existing Club members and potential members. Richard is Secretary to the Communications and Commercial Insight Committee.

Emma joined the Club in February 2023. In her role as Director of Finance, Technology and People she is responsible for the Club’s finance and ensuring financial resources are being used effectively as well as putting in place financial plans and strategies to ensure the long term final sustainability of the Club.  Emma leads on Technology and Data Protection ensuring our systems are secure and stable.  Within her People role, Emma looks after all the Club’s HR functions, including Recruitment, Staff Welfare and training.
