    Getting back to nature and experiencing the serenity and restorative power of the great outdoors is what Veryan Club Site is all about. Situated on the underrated yet glorious rolling green hills of the Roseland Peninsula, this site is perfect for exploring this varied and attractive coastline.


    Green and pleasant

    Many of the pitches on this secluded campsite offer tree-framed views of the surrounding natural beauty that will have you feeling the stress slipping away with each breath. There’s a small fishing lake on site, a field for ball games, and also laundry facilities. A bus stop just a quarter of a mile from the site allows you to access nearby Truro easily.


    Relaxing nature

    As well as fantastic coastal hiking along the South West Coast path, nature enthusiasts will love this area thanks to the abundant flora and fauna of the peninsula. You can see this best at nearby attractions such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, and Trelissick Garden. South of the campsite is the small port of St Mawes where you can catch a ferry to Falmouth and visit the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Falmouth has some fantastic restaurants, but closer to home, a fish and chips van visits Veryan twice a week in high season.

    Worth noting

    • Do not follow SatNav due to narrow lanes.
    • Fishing permits are available onsite; charges apply. Environment Agency Rod Licence required.
    • Most pitches are sloping, and levelling ramps and chocks will be required.
    • Fish and chip van on site 1-2 times a week.

    Carne Beach

    Carne Beach is part of the Cornwall’s magnificent Roseland Heritage Coast, around 13 miles southeast of Truro. Situated in Gerrans Bay, this long strip of shingle and sand stretches for over a mile along the coastline.

    Lost Gardens of Heligan

    Awarded ‘Garden of the Year in 2013’, the Lost Gardens of Heligan offer 200 acres of exotic gardens to explore. Twenty-five years ago, Heligan’s historic gardens were unknown and unseen; lost under a tangle of weeds. It was only the chance discovery of a door in the ruins that led to the restoration of this once great estate.

    Trelissick

    With diverse plant life, wonderful woodland walks and stunning maritime views, Trelissick is a charming country house with over 300 acres of Cornish countryside to explore.
