There’s a Go Ape! course too – with zip wires and Tarzan swings - for those with a head for heights.

I asked the warden about recycling plastic bottles and paper and was told by a somewhat churlish person in the office that there was only facilities for glass, so put everything else in the general, non-recyclable bin. There was a cardboard recycling facility, which clearly the warden wasn't aware of. The local council operates a full recycling service, so why doesn't The Club do more? Children visiting the site learn about recycling at school but, quite clearly, don't get to practice it at this site. Why Not? Not having a full-recycling service, when one is obviously available, is quite irresponsible of The Club. Time to change it I think.

Don't take Motrorhome or car to Chester or Liverpool TAKE THE TRAIN.

This review is for Delamere Forest

Don't take Motrorhome or car to Chester or Liverpool TAKE THE TRAIN. 15mins from Delamere to Chester 9.40 return for 2 (not each) and a quick change and a further 30 mins or so to Liverpool for just 26 return, not each ( that's Delamere to Liverpool ), so easy, got dog(s) take them on the train, no problems at all. The site to station, 5 minutes walk at the most along the side of the road on well trodden track ( no tarmac foot path ), have a great time, we did. PS, These prices are for any 2 traveling together but ask for a Duo ticket or its 25% more
