Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

The walk from site for dog owners is very good.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

The walk from site for dog owners is very good. You can walk a good circuit in the woods of approx1.5 miles or you can walk into Verwood which is much further and takes you across open farmland. The showers are very good as you do not have to keep pressing the button to get a decent amount of water.Be prepared to walk quite a way if you are a motorhomer to get to Verwood.

We are Still new to this camping but with a few sites already under our belt we can really start planning next year's journeys. Definitely new forest will be on our list (not really happy this sites advertising because the site is located outside the new forest - but not too far to travel to get there) We arrived at the site which was really easy to find using the directions given when booking, we were greeted by very friendly faces and were made to feel very comfortable and welcome. We followed the manger to our site and we were offered a few alternatives but happy with the choice. Given plenty of information and didn't feel rushed to have a welcoming chat. The showers and toilets were absolutely prestine and the whole area was full of flowers and hanging baskets. The shop was well stocked but unfortunately they didn't take card payments which was pretty annoying so tesco express which is two min drive got all our money for our stay. We discovered that our electric cable didn't reach and the manager was more than happy to lend us an extension. Definitely recommend and would definitely visit again. Thanks for making our adventure too the new forest peaceful and relaxed.

One of my least favourite ccc sites.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

One of my least favourite ccc sites. It was very crowded during half term, I felt like I was sitting in a car park. There was no choice over where to pitch. During the weekend, there were large groups who were quite rowdy and playing football around the tents. The wardens didn't want disturbing after 8pm so we were left with disturbed nights. Although the site is on a b road, it was quite busy and noisy. The facilities were fine and it had a nice children's play area. I wouldn't return, there are much nicer sites, which don't feel as cramped when full.
