Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

All the site staff (particularly Andy) could not have been friendlier or more welcoming.

All the site staff (particularly Andy) could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and although busy they still took time to help in any way that they could and always with a smile. Rules were enforced but never like you were a schoolchild which has been our experience at some other sites. The facilities were kept very clean and the site itself was very tidy. A great site for children to play safely and even at Easter there was a big green space for them to keep occupied away from the vehicles. Great walking directly from the site and beautiful if you come when the bluebells are in flower, fabulous for dog owners. All this and it's still less than 30 minutes from the beach. Hard to fault and we will come again.

Our first impressions were of a bright, spacious and well maintained site.

Our first impressions were of a bright, spacious and well maintained site. This just kept getting happier and more enjoyable during our week. Friendly. A very comprehensive set of onsite facilities were spotlessly clean and fresh. This was a tribute to the hard working and happy staff who seemed to work 24/7! Some of the pitches can take the biggest tents and space between hard-standing pitches is spot-on. The site is well placed for places to eat and drink"The Monmouth Ash", Verwood served a range of tasty meals through the day. The Badger Bitter was a great accompaniment and for certain dishes a vital ingredient. Pleasant, efficient staff and management . Good for families too.

Verwood is a lovely site with friendly wardens and very easy to get to.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

Verwood is a lovely site with friendly wardens and very easy to get to. The facilities are very clean and there's plenty of hot water and showers. I had to wait a few minutes for a shower one morning but the evenings were no problem at all. A fish and chip van called on the Saturday and a pizza van on Thursday so didn't need to cook every night. There's a lovely wood attached to the site, which in April was awash with beautiful bluebells. The site is handy for the beaches around Bournemouth and Christchurch and also the New Forest and Beaulieu and other attractions.
