Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

The New Forest is close to this site and well worth visiting.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

The New Forest is close to this site and well worth visiting. Due to generally poor weather we didn't really spend much time at the nearby coasts, but this would be a good base for the many coastal towns about 14 miles to the south. I wanted to stay an additional night and the site manager went to some trouble to get this done for me. As I was working up to the night before I left I hadn't really planned very much - I would recommend spending some time searching online to find things that would interest you. There is something for everyone from this base, something I found out during the stay and possibly missed out on a few things I would have liked to have done. The August weather was, as expected, not great so having back up plans for wet days would also be an idea. One of the days started with rain, didn't only continue with rain, but actually became heavier each hour until the evening. I can recommend the site as a friendly, well run and helpful place to book a trip.

We arrived during the closed period of time for cleaning and lunch, a friendly man came over and said if we wanted to go in and park up ,we could go to the office when it opened and sign in later , he was actually on a day off ,but opened the barrier and we duly parked and got the kettle on,great service.Only stayed for two night's as we were travelling on, but most enjoyable time spent and had a great walk over the fields and country lanes as well as crossing the golf course on a visit into Verwood itself. We will return to this immaculate site again and have already told two other motor home owners all about our stay, so hopefully they will visit too.
