Overview

    Top site for beaches

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it has a relaxing ambience and is an ideal setting for kicking back and relaxing after a hectic day exploring the area.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

Worth Noting

Electric security barriers in operation. Please note there is no parking for visitors and, because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

The facilities could be greatly improved by the installation of a dedicated motorhome grey waste disposal area, by way of a ground level drain/ manhole, I was not aware that I would be required to empty my 100ltr tank using a bucket. This could pose a problem for those users with limited mobility etc. I have not experienced this at any other club site I have visited, and it is not something I wish to have to do again. perhaps this lack of appropriate drainage should be mentioned in the campsite details.

We have stayed at the Chichester site many times, visiting friends in the area. This year we have had to increase our visits due to our friend being ill. The wardens have been so supportive helping us adjusting /changing bookings. The wardens are friendly/cheerful & the site is always very clean and well kept. The site is well placed for good walks around Chichester harbour and has excellent public transport links. Please could the site stay open until new year. So that we can enjoy Christmas in the area- the cathedral, the shops and theatre all in Chichester

Lovely site, our third visit this year.

This review is for Chichester

Lovely site, our third visit this year. We have been staying here 13years, having joined the club here. Very convenient for bus and train into Portsmouth or Chichester. Straight in to the Dockyard where we have season tickets. Frank and Roma were very helpful throughout and good luck in their retirement. best time is Sept/Oct when the apples are at their best and can be encouraged down with an awning pole. Mike
