Spot dolphins on Scotland's sunshine coast from this campsite.

Nestled within a beautiful highland Forest, our Club campsite at Nairn is level and well sheltered and has a rural feel. You might even be lucky enough to spot a red squirrel or two.

There are well maintained facilities, including a laundry and a recreation room with table tennis, also a small site shop. The site’s delightful location offers extensive walking directly into the wood. There is also a great walk to the beach.

The attractive seaside town of Nairn has two Blue Flag beaches and a promenade with fantastic views over the Moray Firth. The town hosts a number of festivals including a Book and Arts Festival, International Jazz Festival and the Highland Feast – a food and drink festival. And in August is hosts Scotland’s only free-entry Highland Games.

Nairn is also a centre of golfing excellence with two 18-hole championship golf courses - the Nairn Golf Club and the Castle Stewart Golf Course which is a regular host of the Scotish open. Within an hour’s drive of the town you can visit Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Clava Stones, Loch Ness, Castle Urquhart, Culbin Forest and the new viewpoint tower, the Cairngorms National Park, Cairngorm Mountain Railway, the Strathspey Steam Railway, Ballindalloch Castle, Elgin Cathedral and the Whisky Trail.

Inverness is 15 miles from the campsite. Here you can explore its old town or enjoy walks along the Caledonian Canal and the River Ness. Or take a boat trip to see the resident bottle-nose dolphins in the Moray Firth.

I stayed here in the summer and returned in October with my Gran @ Grandad. I love watching the squirels collecting the nuts that the Wardens Barbara@ Geoff put out for them. They are so kind and are always cleaning up the site so we can all enjoy it. The site is close to Nairn where we can go to the beach to play or to the swimming baths. I cant wait till next year to go back Ialways enjoy it there, Shania grandaughter

the site is basically under trees so we were sheltered from the high winds. This does mean that you don't get much sun if it is out. Site managers were extremely friendly and helpful. the toilet block was very clean but compared with some other CC sites could probably do with an upgrade. it is close to the main road but any noise from this was not a problem. Good base for exploring the area. If needed, as we did on an extended holiday, the laundry facilities were fine.

We stayed here at the beginning of the month for two weeks The caravans are sited among conifers so if you are a sun worshipper this site is not for you. If you like wildlife it is great to watch the Red Squirrels. Barbara and Geoff, are great managers, they love this site and it shows. It is well kept with loads of Flowers all around the entrance. The shower block is spotless and not the managers fault it could be doing with some upgrading. Nairn is only a couple of miles away with all you need for shopping and it has a beautiful beach. This is definitely on my must go back list.

Our first experience of club sites (although we have towed a caravan for 30 + years , now swopped for a motorhome) and what a pleasure it was. Barbara and Geoff gave us a very warm welcome and lots of advise how to use the book etc., couldn't have been more helpfull. The site is marvellous, very well run, they never stop, and always with a smile, excellent clean facilities with lots of hot water, sun shining through the trees, very peacefull and relaxing and only a short bike ride away from Nairn. To top it off Red Squirrels, Red Deer and Bunnies hopping about....BLISS , thanks a million Barbara and Geoff we will return. x x , already told friends to visit they will not be dissapointed.
