Luss is a Member-only Club Site. Non-members in tents are welcome – currently we can’t take these bookings online. Please call to book 024 7647 5426 (M-F: 08:00-17:30 S: 09.00-13.00).

Due to wet weather and the current ground conditions, if you wish to book a motorhome on to a grass pitch, please contact the site directly.

Our Luss Club campsite is located on the western shore of the beautiful Loch Lomond at the southern end of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Its stunning views across the Loch and the park make it one of the Club’s most beautiful sites.

Base yourself at this 90-pitch campsite and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do. Walking and cycling are possible direct from the site and boat launching is possible for those with small non-motorised craft. For the more adventurous there are also hill walking and canyoning opportunities. While Loch Lomond itself is popular for canoeing, water skiing, bathing and picnicking, or simply sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.

A bus stop just 500m from the site, and train station in nearby Balloch make a day trip to Glasgow possible from Luss. For family days out there is Balloch Castle Country Park and the Loch Lomond Sea Life Aquarium, Balloch or take a boat trip to Inchcailloch, one of the Loch’s islands with its own nature reserve.

Very helpful staff and direct access from the site to the loch.

Very helpful staff and direct access from the site to the loch. There were however no directions on the website to the campsite, and repeated attempts to call by phone just got voice messages asking us to call again later. So we went on the postcode - which sent us to completely the wrong end of Luss! We didn't even know if the campsite was in Luss, as some club site names are very misleading as to their location, eg the Oban club iste isn't in Oban! The campsite is overpriced in my view. And it's next to a busy A road, so don't come here if you want peace and quiet.

Luss is a beautiful site with amazing scenery all around Loch Lomond.

Luss is a beautiful site with amazing scenery all around Loch Lomond. Jo and Tom, the site wardens, were really enthusiastic. The site is ideal for walkers and bikers, especially for those walking the West Highland Way. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area for those less energetic. I highly recommend the site and the area around it.

Although the weather was not it's best we enjoyed our stay here.

Although the weather was not it's best we enjoyed our stay here. The village of Luss is a 5 minute walk away and there are lovely restaurants and cafs. We caught the bus from the village car/buss park to Helensburgh and Balloch and had nice days there and I understand you can get the bus into Glasgow from the road. We also went on a 90 minute boat tour of the Loch Islands. The staff on the Luss site are friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. Special thanks to Tom and Joanne Hope for their helpful info on future touring.

I appreciate that there has been no recent investment in the site because the licence expires in a few years but with that being so how can the price (band6) be justified. Toilets did not flush,1 chemical disposal some distance away, most of grass area a quagmire. One unfortunate late arrival up to axles in mud. Contrary to site details there is no view of the loch from any pitch.Trees and bushes obscure view. Our pitch was < 15m from A82 with incessant road noise.Started at 05.30.Had it been a commercial site I would have asked for money back!
