A tranquil campsite retreat in the Midlands.
If you want a get away from it all break but not be too far from civilization our Clent Hills Club cmpsite is a great option. Its location in a peaceful valley, less than a mile from the beautiful Clent Hills, makes this a truly relaxing site, yet the city of Birmingham is less than 15 miles away with Halesowen and Kidderminster even closer.
This spacious site enjoys a peaceful ambience and pleasant views across the surrounding countryside. The Clent Hills, less than a mile from the campsite, are a popular haunt for walkers with miles of footpaths and stunning panoramic views of the Cotswolds, Welsh Borders and Shropshire Hills. The National Trust’s programme of guided walks and suggested routes will help you find your way around this rural haven. The 440 acres of woodland and heathland are popular with birdwatchers too.
For shopping, attractions and cultural distractions Birmingham offers the famous Bullring shopping centre, Birmingham Museum and Art gallery the Sea Life Centre and more. Other attractions within driving distance include the Black Country Living Museum, Cadbury World and West Midlands Safari Park.
Some pitches are sloping and chocks will be required. Poor TV reception.

Beautiful site, Ron & Jo (mgrs.) very helpful
and welcoming, access road has been
newly tarmaced, visited with friends and
our children who had a fantastic
time, some pitches sloping but most of hard
standing is level, Ron arranged pitches next to
each other for us and allowed us to turn
van around so we could pitch awnings facing each
other which was brilliant! The only small downside
to the hard standing is that it is brutal underfoot as
it is more rocky than hard standing we have stayed on
before at other sites, and you needed shoes at all times
in the awning! However, this definitely wouldn't put us off going again.

An ideally located site for a peaceful break. Ideal for couples, families,or anyone who needs a break from the day to day hustle and bustle. Site staff very knowledgeable of local area even providing maps for walks. Good club shop providing essentials even ice and ice-creams for hot days. Very dog friendly. Washing up area even has plugs. Jo and Ron put in long days to ensure the guests are happy and have everything they need. Can be seen on and around the site at anytime between early morning and well after the sun has set. Local amenities are close by in Romsley. There is even a choice of 2 pups the Rising Sun and The Swallows Nest. Plenty of Public Footpaths across beautiful countryside for you to get lost in peace and tranquillity. Also close enough to Birmingham, Bromsgrove and Kidderminster to be able to get to see some of the Midlands best attractions including Severne Valley Railway, Safari Park and Cadbury World. This review is for Clent Hills
As a regular visitor to the Clent Hills site, I was really pleased to find the entrance road has been repaired to a very high standard and the warm and friendly welcome by the new site managers was a great start to my 4 night stay, who gave me a choice of pitches to choose from. All the facilities were spotless and the grounds were being maintained to the high standards set by the previous managers,Peter and Catherine.(Enjoy your retirement!) With the Clent Hills a mile away,Nimmings Wood,a little over 2 miles away and the Country Park 3 miles away, this excellent site is the ideal base for (dog)walking in beautiful surroundings and magnificent views. I'll be going back again this season without fail.
