Ideal campsite for exploring local market towns or walks on the Malvern Hills.

Blackmore Club campsite enjoys a peaceful setting in the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. It combines plenty of green open space with more sheltered pitches around the site perimeter. As well as clean, modern toilet blocks, the excellent on site facilities include a recreation room with pool table, dog walk and children’s play area.

One of the appeals of this award-wining site is its proximity to the Malvern Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ¬- which offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on over 100 miles of paths and bridleways. In fact, so popular is the area for walking, it hosts a nine-day walking festival. If you prefer walks of the not so challenging type, the pretty village of Hanley Swan, with a choice of two pubs, is just a mile’s stroll from the site.

If you want to travel a bit further afield but leave your vehicle behind, there’s a bus stop just outside the site with an hourly service to Malvern, Upton and Worcester.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Eat Local

Pitching under a tree wasn't ideal as bird mess all over van.

Pitching under a tree wasn't ideal as bird mess all over van. Site wouldn't allow me use of ladders to clean and made a right mess. Plenty of other pitches we could of used. Other than that great site and facilities.

We enjoyed the peace of this site, due mostly to the time of year.

We enjoyed the peace of this site, due mostly to the time of year. Toilet block was pretty average for club sites and we noticed there was another block which they open during the high season. The staff were very friendly on arrival and kept in the background during our stay which we preferred. There is a very good, wooded, dog walk around the perimeter of the site which our little dogs loved. The buses are not that frequent and, apart from Hanley Swan village, transport is necessary to take in all the sights. Worcester Cathedral is not to be missed and, of course, the Malvern Hills. We found TV reception excellent after a few tries. The only shortcoming was that there was very little information to be found and none of the usual Club Site print-outs, maps, walks, bus timetable etc. We were offered a printed booklet of local walks for £2.50, written by a local person, which we bought.
