All you need to know about buying your holiday home

The process of searching for your perfect home can be overwhelming so we want to help you as much as we can along the way. Buying a holiday home is a major lifestyle choice. Which type of property would suit your lifestyle - a luxury lodge or a caravan holiday home? We have both types of property for sale throughout our parks to suit all tastes, requirements and budgets.

Q. Location

Choose a location you love - a place where you can create memories year upon year. Think about how often you would visit and how far you and your family would like to travel.
Consider what attractions are nearby to cater for you and your family’s leisure pursuits. It could be outdoor activities, shopping facilities or simply being in the heart of the local countryside.

Q. The Park

Once you know where you would like your Holiday Home to be located, you can then choose a park. We would recommend you visit our parks to ensure you get a real sense of what it would be like to own a holiday home on one. 
 
We want you to make the right choice and we would love for you to visit us so we can show you around and to gain a real understanding of what you are looking for. You could visit us for the day or you could take up a short holiday on one of our parks and try one of our self-catering facilities (where available).
 
Our parks are situated in some of the UK’s most stunning places. We don’t have on-site entertainment, bars or clubs - but we offer serenity at its best, in places with breath-taking scenery and enthralling surroundings. Visiting a park will allow you to find out what facilities it has to offer and if it is tailored to suit your needs.
 
Your holiday home can be enjoyed for up to 11 months of the year (Site season permitting) but cannot be used as a full-time residence.

Q. Running Costs and Site Fees

As with any holiday home purchase, there will be on-going costs related to your home including; electricity, gas, insurance and site fees. We will be able to advise you on these costs when you make an enquiry, though to give you an idea of the current site fee’s they range from £1505.46 - £5276.32 (dependent on location and unit type).

The purchase of a holiday home is a lifestyle choice and should not be viewed as an investment to provide a financial return.

Please read the purchase order form thoroughly before you commit to buying, as this outlines the rights and responsibilities of both the seller and the buyer.
 
At the time of purchase you will also be provided with a copy of the standard site agreement for the unit.  Many customers also seek the advice of a legal professional to examine the document for them. This is sensible practice before the signing of any legally binding agreement.
