Technically the Raclet Solena is classed as a folding camper as you can pitch the main cabin without the need to peg it out, though most people would consider this compact unit to be a trailer tent. Set up is easy, you simply use the jockey wheel to level the unit then put the four corner steadies down, unlock the GRP roof cover and pull it open, clipping the hooks on to the roof bars as you go, and then lower the roof cover to the ground. After a quick walk around the outside, locating the canvas over the hook and loop strips, half the job is done. To finish off you go inside and push the side pole frames up until they lock. Add four bracing poles, one in each of the corners, and you’re done.
