A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away a group of intrepid campers travelled through the cosmos to share in their favourite pastime at the largest gathering of its kind in the universe. That gathering became known as the National Feast of Lanterns (NFOL), and it now happens every year for those who enjoy the social side of camping and creating unforgettable memories.
Okay, so perhaps we’re using a little artistic licence with this story, but with good reason – this year’s NFOL, hosted by the Club’s North West Region at Arley Hall in Cheshire, has the theme of science fiction.
