There’s always one word that springs to mind whenever I consider the subject of storage space in caravans and motorhomes – compromise. The interior is a compromise between living space and storage space, which means manufacturers have to be creative when thinking about both within the confines of the caravan or motorhome in question. Despite being a fairly compact, no-frills family motorhome built in Adria’s factory in Slovenia I was pretty impressed by the amount, and versatility, of the storage space. As we’ve previously reported in Camping & Caravanning, this is a motorhome without an oven or microwave. So looking at what is a small kitchen area, the decent sized Dometic fridge/freezer and two generous drawers beneath the sink no doubt benefit from the absence of either oven (it is worth pointing out here there is a three-burner gas hob). It’s back to those compromises.
