Chargers for leisure batteries

A basic, traditional battery charger is a simple device that’s been made to charge a battery to a state where it is capable of starting an engine. What’s less well understood is this is not a fully-charged state and such a charger is only good to take a battery up to about 80 per cent charge. This may be ideal for cranking an engine but not if you want maximum viable capacity for improved endurance when out camping.
